On November 9th, students and faculty at Bonifay K-8 in grades Pre-k through 4th will be holding their annual Veteran’s Day Program. There will be an assembly held at 9am in the Gymnasium to honor all local Veterans and military personnel. During the assembly, all students, Kindergarten through 4th grade, will be performing a musical salute to the honored guests. We ask that the students be dressed in red, white, and blue colors to show their patriotic spirit. JROTC and the HCHS Blue Pride Band will also be invited to participate in the festivities. Students are encouraged to invite an American Veteran or Military service person to the program as well as you, their parents. Immediately following the Honors Program, we will be hosting a Veteran’s Reception for all attending past and present Veterans or members of the military. The reception will be held outside of the Gymnasium. Parking will be reserved for Veterans and members of the military on the North side of the school before entering the Gymnasium area. We will also be holding our annual Veteran’s Day Poster Contest. All students are invited to participate. The posters will be displayed around the school during the week of the program. We are very excited about this year’s program and look forward to seeing each of you there.
